Apply for a North Fair Oaks Youth Initiative Mini-Grant

The North Fair Oaks Youth Initiative (NFOYI) is a leadership program in which the youth gain different training that they will later take out into the community by being able to help others in as many ways possible. The NFOYI is looking for organizations that educate and promote healthy lifestyles, emotional well-being, prepare high school students for college, and provide resources for others. Applicants can apply for up to $1,500 to be used within 12 months from the date they receive the funds.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant:

  • Must be older than 14 years old with adult supervision (18 years old without adult supervision)
  • Must be low-income
  • Must live in either North Fair Oaks or East Palo Alto

Area Locations:

  • Project must serve a community between Redwood City, Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, and North Fair Oaks

 

Applications will be accepted between March 14, 2016 through April 11, 2016.
A project evaluation, including documentation of how the funds were spent, will be due by May 11, 2017.
